North Fulton Provides Back Packs and School Supplies

The Rotary Club of North Fulton kicked off the new Rotary year with our first meeting under the leadership of President Dan Jenkins! President Dan shared his vision for the year ahead and challenged each of us to consider how we can deepen our involvement in service projects and continue making a meaningful impact in our community.

We put that challenge into action before the meeting even ended!

Our members assembled 48 backpacks filled with essential school supplies for middle school students served by North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC). NFCC's Community Engagement Manager, SaraSpring Weston, shared that the need this year has increased by 200 additional students, making our contribution especially important. These backpacks will help ensure more local students begin the school year with the supplies they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

We are excited to see what we can accomplish together this Rotary year as we continue to live out our motto of Service Above Self.
