Trunk or Treat is a different spin on trick-or-treating where
volunteers decorate the trunk of their car and pass out candy as kids “Trunk or
Treat” from car to car. The kids will “parade” in the parking lot of St Luke’s
Church, going from car to car. There will be 90+ kids.
Volunteers are asked to be at the church parking lot (435
Peachtree Street) prior to the 1:00 start time. Each volunteer can decorate
their car trunk and bring treats, which could be individually wrapped candy,
but alternatively could be pencil, pens, erasers, glow sticks, bookmarks,
bracelets, stickers, notepads, bouncy balls, or fake tatoos. If possible,
volunteers should wear costumes (not required).
Trunk decorating ideas can be found on the internet = search
“Trunk or Treat.”
For more information, call or email Jimmy Paulk. We'll send
updates to each person who volunteers.
