11.14.2025: Message from our PresidentWhat an inspirational program on Monday with Jake Ciccone from the Shepherd Center SHARE program. We learned how this vital program brings hope, healing, and recovery to veterans as well as police and fire fighters. A huge thank you to Blake Beyer for his 14 years of dedicated service to the program, you are truly the GOAT! And to Dave Bockel, Jr. who handles the heavy lifting making sure everything runs smoothly, month after month. We are so grateful for all you do! Most importantly, thank you to all our veterans who served our nation and others. Your courage, sacrifice, and dedication are an inspiration for us all. Best regards, Shelley Hammell
Monday's Meeting: Monsignor Frank McNamee, Rector, The Cathedral of Christ the KingMonsignor Francis McNamee is the rector of the Cathedral of Christ the King, the mother-church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta and a parish of almost 6,000 registered families. A native of Loughrea, Ireland, Monsignor Frank was ordained to the priesthood in 1995 at St. Brendan’s Cathedral in Loughrea. Since then, he has ministered at Holy Trinity Catholic Church (Peachtree City), St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church (Kennesaw), and St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church (Roswell). He has served as the chaplain of the Roswell Fire Department. As rector of the Cathedral, he annually celebrates a Blue Mass, honoring local first responders and remembering those who have lost their lives in service to their community. Monsignor Frank studied philosophy at St. Patrick’s College in Thurles and attended seminary at St. John’s College in Waterford City, Ireland.
