Instead of sugarplums, members Miriam Falaki, Sam Alston (not pictured), President Shelley Hammell and her husband Joe delivered Elf on the Shelf Plushee Pals, sparking smiles, laughter, and a little extra magic for young patients spending the holiday in the hospital. Buckhead Rotarians and The Lumistella Company, the women-led creators of the beloved Elf on the Shelf universe, generously donated these Plushee Pals. Shepherd Center is a nationally recognized hospital specializing in rehabilitation for people with spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, and other complex neurological conditions. We were honored to share a small gesture of kindness and show these young patients, and their families, that they are not alone this holiday season.
