Message from the President: Love is in the Air

Buckhead Rotary hosted a fun, educational, and creative pre–Valentine’s Day event at the Boyce Ansley School for its 95 students in grades K–6, benefiting LifeLine Animal Project. Students made toys for shelter cats and dogs and created Valentine’s drawings to show their affection for individual animals. A special guest foster dog, Jolly Boy, gave students the chance to enjoy some hands-on time, and the day concluded with Valentine cookies for all. This project was made possible in part by a grant from The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International to support education.

Thank you to our fabulous volunteers; Sam Alston, Karla Arriola, our GRSP student Dani Bergamo, Anne Breedlove (Jim’s wife), Miriam Falaki, Kathy Finnn, Molly Guenther, Joe Hammell (Shelley’s husband), Beth Howell, Jimmy Paulk, Maddie Puhy, Ty Tippett, Carl Wilhjelm and most especially Anne Stuhler who made this day possible with all her coordination leading up to this event.
